University convocation told of Allah, not Jesus

Excerpted from WorldNetDaily.
Speakers at the Virginia Tech convocation called on Allah and Buddha in their efforts to minister to the survivors, family and friends of victims of the shooting massacre at the school – but Jesus wasn't mentioned by name.

Read the entire article at WorldNetDaily. By-and-large, the US is a nation that identifies with the Christian religion. According to the Glenmary Research Center, the three largest religious bodies in the United States are Catholics (62 million), Southern Baptists (20 million), and United Methodists (10 million). All Christian faiths.

Below is a map that shows the largest participating religious groups of all residents in each county of the US.

Below is a map that shows the Muslims as a percentage of all residents in each county of the US in 2000.

Buddhists don't even register in the data.

This is political correctness run amok. Americans are affraid to invoke the name of Jesus in public.

"Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven." ~ Matthew 10:32-33
